Meet the therapist

Jason Leaverton is a Christian therapist, Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Army Veteran. Our Mission

At Made For More Counseling, our mission is to help adults and couples move from surviving to thriving. Through compassionate, evidence-based counseling and a Christian foundation of hope and grace, we help people overcome anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship struggles while equipping them with the tools to experience lasting healing, stronger relationships, and meaningful change.

Our Values

  • Compassion.  Everyone arrives carrying something heavy. We meet you with empathy, grace, and respect, creating a safe place where you can be honest without fear of judgment.
  • Faith. Our work is grounded in Christian values of hope, grace, and compassion. We welcome people from all backgrounds and are honored to integrate faith into the counseling process whenever it is meaningful and desired by you.
  • Relationship First. In couples counseling, we don't take sides—we stand with the relationship. Our goal is to help both partners feel heard, understood, and equipped to rebuild trust and connection.
  • Evidence-Based Care. We combine compassion with proven therapeutic approaches, drawing from evidence-based models like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to create lasting change.
  • Integrity & Confidentiality. Trust is the foundation of counseling. What you share is treated with the highest level of professionalism, confidentiality, and care so you can speak freely and confidently.

Why Made For More Counseling?

You weren't created to simply survive — you were made for more.

As an Army Veteran, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Christian, I understand that life can leave deep wounds. My approach combines proven, evidence-based counseling with genuine compassion and, when you desire, faith integrated into the counseling process.

Whether you're seeking help as an individual or as a couple, you'll find a place where you can be honest, challenged, encouraged, and supported as you move toward healing.

Hope starts with one conversation.
